The initial route for Phase 1 of the streetcar system extends from University of Cincinnati, past Findlay Market in Over-the-Rhine to the Reds stadium on the riverfront. Along the route there are numerous restaurants, bars, museums, nightclubs, theatres, shops, and attractions.

This route will connect the major destinations downtown with the neighborhoods of Uptown. Music Hall and a revitalized Washington Park will be a short streetcar ride away from the new developments around Fountain Square, the riverfront, and the emerging Gateway Quarter in Over-the-Rhine.
